Apple recently held a live event at the Apple Park Campus within its Steve Jobs Theater announcing multiple products and its upcoming plans. The event was further broadcasted live on its official website and its official YouTube channel. The “Spring Loaded” promise from Apple surely didn’t disappoint its users. Below are the launches and product details from the announcements.
AirTags
The company finally launched its most talked product, Apple AirTag. It is a tiny Bluetooth locator, in the size of a circular disc, that attaches to your items such as keys, laptop, phone, bottle, car, etc. The locator is connected to the phone’s Find My Application and contains a built-in speaker that plays sound to help find the misplaced items. AirTags will be available from April 30, 2021.
iMac Computers
The giant tech company is further introducing a much thinner version of its iMac Computers consisting of 24-inch size, 4.5K display with 11.3 million pixels. The computers have been said to replace the original thermal system inclusive of two small fans with a new chip transforming into a smaller logic board, hence shrinking the size. With the multiple registered complaints during the COVID19 pandemic, these computers now contain high quality camera and microphone to have better video call meetings. The iMacs will be available from April 30 in seven colors – Green, Blue, Pink, Silver, Yellow, Orange and Purple.
Siri Remote
Apple will also be seen introducing a new Siri remote with its next generation Apple TV 4K with A12 Bionic Chip. The aluminum remote will come automatically paired with the Apple TV and consists of a click pad that will allow users to either click on it or use in circular motion. Apple will start taking orders from April 30.
iPhone 12 – Purple
As previously launched in colors Green, Black, Red, White and Blue, Apple launched its iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini in a new color – purple which will be available for orders starting April 30.
iPad Launch
A newer version of iPad Pro with a faster processor will also be available from April 30. Apple is said to have added a 5G support, M1 chip for better graphics and AI features, a thunderbolt port for external connections and better camera quality.
